Natalie Imbruglia has admitted that her son Max, two, almost rumbled her The Masked Singer Panda identity. The Torn singer, 47, appeared on Wednesday's episode of ITV's This Morning to celebrate the 25th anniversary of her debut record, Left Of The Middle, which has sold over 7 million copies to date.
Natalie, who gave a live performance of hit 90s track Torn, also discussed her time on the Masked Singer earlier this year, where she was crowned the winner. Asked how hard it was to keep her involvement a secret, as well as her Panda disguise, Natalie admitted: "I was hiding out, I live in Oxfordshire so that part was quite easy, but I'd shown videos of rehearsals to my son, thinking: 'Well, you know, he can't speak!' "Then I went to Australia and he started talking, we were at the airport and somebody had a Panda wheelie bag.
He starts going: 'Mummy, mummy!' I was like: 'Oh no, I'm going to be rumbled by my son!'" It comes after Natalie was crowned the winner of The Masked Singer UK after she was unveiled as Panda on the hit ITV show earlier this year. The Australian-British songwriter and actress, who has hits including Torn, Shiver and Wrong Impression, floored Mo Gilligan, Rita Ora, Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall and guest judge Joss Stone during the final on Saturday 12 February.
Natalie wowed with her vocals and beat Charlotte Church, 35, who was unmasked as Mushroom, along with Westlife star Mark Feehily, 41, who was unveiled as Robobunny. Become an OK! VIP and see all our exclusives - for free! Become an OK! VIP and you will unlock access to all of our big exclusives...
