Adam Graham, the first out gay mayor of a small town in Oklahoma, US, has resigned after becoming the target of threats and attacks. Graham, was elected around five years ago as council member and then the Mayor of The Village in Oklahoma and was the town’s youngest and first out gay elected official. In his letter to the City Manager Bruce Stone, Graham said that he had been recently the target of threats. For almost five years, I've proudly served The Village as Councilmember and Mayor.
