A gold medal for Mancunian BMX rider Charlotte Worthington has been ‘like a dream’ for her mother.
The 25-year-old former cook from Chorlton landed the first-ever 360 backflip to claim first place in the BMX freestyle at the Tokyo Olympics on Sunday (August 1).
Speaking to Times Radio, her mother Sarah said: “It’s just a bit like a dream, really.
