Fans of the cleaning guru, whose full name is Sophie Hinchliffe have taken to social media to share their wisdom after one enthusiast asked for help - and one hack stood out above the rest.
Shared on the Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips Facebook group, one member asked: "Advice please - how do I get my toilet white again?" She explained that her toilet has built up limescale staining as she doesn't flush the loo when she goes during the night.
She added that while using zero-limescale toilet cleaner has slightly improved the appearance, she wanted to find out if there was a better and easier way to get her loo sparkling.
In the comments, there was a favoured method of removing limescale - a dishwasher tablet. One wrote: "If you have a dishwasher tablet, you can drop one in and it works in an hour or so. Works every time."
Another said a dishwasher tablet removes even stubborn stains, commenting: "Drop a dishwasher tablet in the toilet and leave as long as you can before flushing it removes even thick and stubborn limescale."
