Morrisons shoppers will be pleased to hear the supermarket chain has officially slashed the minimum spend requirement on click and collect orders.
Up until recently, shoppers have had to spend a minimum of £40 to be able to purchase their groceries through the grocer's click and collect service.
But, now the supermarket chain has reduced the minimum by almost 50 per cent, as online baskets now only need to be worth £25 to to be eligible for a slot, reports The Scottish Sun.
The change will come as welcome news to smaller households or anyone looking to purchase a smaller shop through the online service.
It is the latest change Morrisons have made to their click and collect service after it was expanded due to a surge in popularity during the UK's third national lockdown.
By 2020 only 47 branches offered the service to shoppers, but this has since expanded to 447 stores across the entire country. Some stores still do not offer it.
While the minimum spend requirement has been dropped, the same rules still apply.
Shoppers will still need to have a basket of items worth £25 before they can secure a slot to checkout their groceries.
All shoppers need to do is log into their account, select preferred location and pick up time, complete their online shop as normal, then checkout.
Any orders through the supermarket's click and collect service are free.
You can find out if your local store offers the click and collect service by using Morrisons branch finder.
All you need to do is pop in your postcode and you will be provided with a list of branches next to you that order the click and collect service.
The changes come after the UK's fourth largest supermarket was recently named the "most complained about" supermarket, according to an
