Research has revealed that there has been an increase in couples choosing to sleep in separate beds due to their partner's annoying sleep habits.
Sleep experts at Mattress Online conducted a study that discovered that over half of Brits (51 per cent) prefer to sleep apart from their partners so they can sleep better.
Wales Online reported that the survey shows six main factors that are likely to make couples sleep separately.

It appears that not getting a good night's sleep is a key factor in whether couples are likely to sleep in the same bed or not.
Nearly half of Brits biggest peave is snoring while more than one in 10 Brits find fidgeting more than enough of a reason to sleep in a separate room.
Luna Ribeira has been with her partner for five years and advocates sleeping apart.
She said: "We sleep much better alone. If we have a bad night's sleep, we can't blame the other for snoring or shuffling around. Likewise, there’s no issue if one of us wants to go to bed later or get up earlier than the other, and we can spread out as much as we want!
"We have separate rooms. We both have very different tastes and completely different preferences with mattresses too. Mine is the best mattress ever but he finds it too soft.
"His is rock hard but he thinks it’s great. We enjoy spending time together in the evening then saying goodnight and going to our separate rooms to relax before bed. We get excited about seeing each other in the morning."
