‘Not enough vaccines, test results delayed for days, and people cancelling Pride plans’ - monkeypox fears are building as the number of cases in Greater Manchester are on the rise.

However, people hoping to get a jab to protect themselves in time for Pride worry it ‘might be too late’ to stop the virus being spread widely at the festivities as the disease can be communicated not only through sexual contact but other methods such as coughs and sneezes of a person infected, and touching the same clothes, bedding or towels.
