The bizarre footage of the incident in Maes-y-Coed in Blackwood, Wales, has stunned viewers after being shared on social media. The construction vehicle is seen hitting the property several times, Wales Online reports.
Two people pace the driveway and hold their arms up in anger and desperation as the JCB smashes into the house. It then scrapes a silver car parked outside, before raising it up on its side and dropping it back onto the ground.
One of the appalled onlookers runs up and hits the side of the digger's cabin in response, before the vehicle is driven away, leaving bystanders bewildered at what had just happened.
The entire incident at Maes- y-Coed was filmed from a parked vehicle nearby and uploaded to social media, with hundreds of equally-alarmed viewers leaving comments.
Gwent Police confirmed: "At approximately 12.20pmon Tuesday, November 8, we received a report of criminal damage being caused to a house in Woodfield, Blackwood. A 55-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and drink driving and is currently in custody being questioned."
