Molly-Mae Hague has candidly opened up on her relationship with fillers, admitting she felt "embarrassed" by the way she looked after being compared to an Xbox controller.The reality star turned Pretty Little Thing creative director looked very different at the young age of 14 – before getting fillers to plump her lips and face. Four years later Molly-Mae decided to undergo the procedure after feeling as though she could "get away with murder" following her parents' divorce. But it wasn't until after she went on the hit ITV dating programme Love Island, which returns next week, that she got the "full package", which involved "God knows" how much injected into her cheeks, jaw and lips for £500.

In other words, I had loads," she wrote in an extract of her book Becoming Molly-Mae obtained by the Sunday Times. But once she saw her "swollen face" in a vlog that was due to come out, she felt it "looked horrendous" and went on to feel "embarrassed" after someone took a screenshot of her face, which went viral.
"'What’s Molly done to her face?' was the response. I was mortified.The reality was that my once-sharp jawline had jowls hanging underneath, my lips felt lumpy, uneven and unnatural," she said. While she knew the swelling would go down eventually, the trolling led her to the pinnacle moment when she decided she was done with fillers.
She added: "I didn’t feel prettier. I didn’t feel better. Filler had made me feel worse." Speaking to the Sunday Times, Molly-Mae said she feels she has a "huge responsibility" as many her followers are young, impressionable
