Molly-Mae Hague created something of a stir after she shared some photos from her friend and agent Francesca Britton's wedding, in which she was wearing a white dress.The former Love Island star, 24, took to Instagram to share a black-and-white snap of herself posed next to her pal. In the photo, Molly donned a floor-length white dress, while Francesca wore a white sleeveless bridal gown and veil.
Captioning the photo, Molly-Mae wrote: "Honoured to have been by your side yesterday @francescabrits." The fashion mogul's followers were quick to question her attire, with one writing: "Did you wear a white dress to your mates wedding???" "Why did you wear a wedding dress when it wasn’t your wedding?????? Wtf," commented a second, while a third added: "Is the bride okay with you upstanding her?" Francesca, however, commented: "Always love you [heart emoji]" and the TV star's fans were quick to jump to her defence, with many pointing out that Molly was a bridesmaid meaning her dress had likely been chosen by the bride.
