TV celebrity Molly-Mae Hague claims she’s so famous that she can’t go to the shops without bringing her bodyguards.
The influencer shot to fame after finishing runner-up on ITV’s Love Island with boxer Tommy Fury in 2019 but now she says she cannot leave her house without it getting ‘crazy’.
Last week the 22-year-old was slammed for comments she made during an episode of The Diary of A CEO podcast, which she appeared as a guest, claiming ‘we all have the same 24 hours in the day’.
When asked by the host of the podcast Steven Bartlett how she pulls off leaving her home without it being crazy, Molly-Mae shared her struggles.
The star who has collected 6.2 million followers on Instagram, revealed she tends to avoid crowded locations as it never tends to be a ‘normal experience’.
She said: “It sounds like you’re being big headed when you say it but you just, someone come out with me and see, it’s not a normal experience. You have to take security, it’s not just a quick nipping out. It’s a lot.”
Last week Molly-Mae received a lot of controversy when she made comments about everyone having the same amount of hours in the day to get things done.
She talked about work ethic but followers slammed her for being ‘tone deaf’, according to Mirror Online.
During the podcast that was released on December 13th she said: “You’re given one life and it’s down to you what you do with it. You can literally go in any direction.”
Molly-Mae admitted she’d been blasted in the past when talking about work ethic due to not growing up in poverty herself so what she said wasn’t correct.
