Millie Bobby Brown revealed she had lost her grandad in an Instagram post on Thursday. The Stranger Things actress uploaded a sweet photo of the late relative and herself dancing around what appears to be a living room. She captioned the tribute post with the words: ‘we’ll miss you grandad [sic]’, along with a white dove emoji.
Millie, 19, is British but was born and raised in Marbella, Spain by her parents Kelly and Robert Brown. The star is the youngest of four children along with Paige – who has starred in her Enola Holmes movies – Ava, and Charlie. Following her announcement surrounding the familial loss, her fans rushed to offer words of condolences and support.
One penned: ‘i just know that he is so proud of you mills [sic]’. Another wrote: ‘sending lots of love ! hope you and your family are well [sic]’, along with a white heart. ‘I’m so sorry, sending sm love and support, may he rest in peace [sic]’, was a social media user’s response to the picture.
Millie has been vocal in the past about how much family support has helped her navigate her rise to fame at such a young age. She told Seventeen: ‘Familiar faces are something that I don’t take for granted at all. I like to be able to be around people that make me smile and that make me feel like myself’.
Her latest news came after she admitted she met her boyfriend Jake Bongiovi on Instagram during a candid chat. The actress told Wired: ‘We met on Instagram. And we were friends for a bit, and then, what can I say?’Son of rocker Jon Bon Jovi, Jake and Millie first sent tongues wagging back in the summer of 2021 when romance rumours were rife.
