Miley Cyrus’s Endless Summer Vacation is getting off to a good start, leading the race to become the pop icon’s first UK Number 1 album in almost a decade. 

Stevie Nicks and Billy Joel‘s co-headlining US tour began in Inglewood, California last night (March 10) – watch them duet two tracks below.Nicks’ joint tour with Joel – dubbed ‘Two Icons, One Night’ – will encompass seven shows between March and September, with the Fleetwood Mac member recently announcing headline dates to fill in the gaps between those shows, kicking off next week (March 15) at Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena.At the Inglewood show, during Nicks’ set she was joined by Joel for a rendition of ‘Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around’, before she then hopped up on stage with Joel during his set to lend vocals to a rendition of ‘And So It Goes’.Elsewhere during the gig, Nicks paid an emotional tribute to her late Fleetwood Mac bandmate Christine McVie.Before performing ‘Landslide’, Nicks told the crowd of McVie: “I have to imagine she’s still here. She didn’t come in like a wrecking ball so much as a pendulum. Successive records found her swinging back and forth — or sideways — from the pop-diva dominance she established with “Bangerz” to the one-woman back-to-roots movement of “Young Again,” on up to the rockin’ new-wave revivalism of 2021’s “Plastic Hearts.” (Somewhere in there came her Flaming Lips collab… or probably we all just collectively dreamed that one, right?) Through it all was the sense that Cyrus was always working hard — too hard, sometimes — to establish that a new shift in direction was the real her, the one that’d really find her “just being Miley,” as a seminal hit of hers once promised.

Miley Cyrus has shared the official music video for her latest single, ‘River’ – you can watch it below.The track appears on the pop star’s eighth studio album ‘Endless Summer Vacation’, which came out today (March 10).Cyrus sings over pulsating synths: “Heart beats so loud that it’s drowning me out/ Living in an April shower/ You’re pouring down, baby, drowning me out/ You’re just like a river/ You go on forever/ You’re just like a river.”In the stylish black-and-white visuals, the singer dances under a spotlight on a raised, lit-up platform before she’s joined by a group of topless men. Later, water begins to rain on the performers as ‘River’ intensifies towards the end.Tune in here:Prior to dropping ‘River’, Cyrus described the tune as a “dancefloor banger” with a “nasty” sound.

Miley Cyrus is returning to her Disney Channel roots with a new edition of Backyard Sessions in celebration of her latest album . For the first time since taking off the  wig back in 2011, the pop star is partnering with Disney to release: a musical event featuring Miley’s first performances of and seven additional tracks from the new album. The special will drop, in coordination with the release of the new album, on Friday, March 10 at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m.

It’s a new day.”As for the ‘PM’ part, the singer said: “At nighttime, it feels like there’s a slinky, seediness and kind of a grime but a glamour at the same time.

Miley Cyrus has scored the longest-running UK Number One single for a female artist since Adele’s ‘Easy On Me’.The US star’s latest single ‘Flowers’ has held the top spot on the Official UK Singles Chart since January 13.As it claimed the Number One position for a seventh week yesterday (March 3), Cyrus became the longest-running female artist at the top of the charts since Adele dominated them with ‘Easy On Me’. That single spent eight non-consecutive weeks at Number One between 2021 and 2022.As well as holding on to the top spot, ‘Flowers’ also remains the most-streamed song in the UK, according to the Official Charts Company.
