Zara Tindall ’s husband, rugby legend Mike Tindall surprised the nation this week when he was announced as the latest famous face heading into the I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here jungle. Yet as the dad of three braces himself for a fortnight of creepy crawlies, terrifying challenges and minimal rations - he may well be reaching for a bottle of his newly launched gin brand Blackeye to unwind! Mike launched the brand back in July alongside his pals James Haskell and Alex Payne, who together co-host his show The Good, the Bad & The Rugby.
Living up to it’s namesake, the spirit comes in a distinctive black bottle, with prices ranging from between £40 to £60 depending on whether you fancy having your bottled signed. The business is a far cry from Mike’s earlier career as a professional rugby player, but it does still boast a royal connection, as The Queen herself had previously been a big fan of Gin and even enjoyed selling it from time to time.
