Michael Owen has shared his thoughts about what it felt like to watch daughter Gemma put on a very saucy display on Love Island last night. It was the annual lap dance challenge and Gemma showed off her skills as she got the boys' hearts racing with her own impressive display, which featured a nod to her career as an international dressage rider.
Former Liverpool FC star Michael previously admitted he wasn't too keen about his beloved wee girl signing up for the ITV2 reality dating show. But last night was clearly not the best time for him to tune in and see how she was getting on, as it was time for the yearly Heart Pumping Challenge.
Gemma was one of the first girls to make her moves and she focused mainly on Luca Bish, who she has been coupled up with since the second week. As he watched Gemma sizzle on screen with her talented dance moves, Michael took to Twitter to let fans know how he was feeling.

He posted a single emoji on the social media platform, which had a person hiding their face. His tweet quickly got thousands of responses, as fans joked about how it was a bad time to watch the show. "Wrong night to tune in #loveisland," one wrote, as another added. "Loooooooooooooooooooool deep breaths my guy."
A third shared: "Watching your daughter strip on prime time tv for a fisherman would have made my heart explode," as a fourth penned: "Mans walking up to the villa to drag Gemma out like this #LoveIsland."
