Rob Lowe has come a long way. The 58-year-old actor rocketed to fame in 1983's and has since enjoyed an enviable career by any standards, but Lowe admits that even he worried that his career might be over at one point in the '90s.«One day I woke up and go, 'I haven't worked in two years,'» Lowe tells ET's Matt Cohen in a new interview, recalling the early days of raising his family with wife Sheryl Burkoff. Michael Schneider Variety Editor at Large Amazon Freevee has ordered the docuseries “God Family Football,” which follows ex-football player and high school football coach Denny Duron as he returns to once again coach the Louisiana-based team that he once led. Duron has been retired for 30 years, but decides to return to Evangel Christian Academy in Shreveport, La., after the one-time high school football powerhouse fell on rough times. Once home to 14 state championships in the last 20 years, the team is now coming off its worst season in school history. Propagate, Watershed and Ascending Media Group are behind the series, which follows Duron as he looks to teach his motto — “God first, family second, and football third” (hence the title of the series) — to a new generation.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is the latest superstar athlete to purchase the rights to a Major League Pickleball team. Brady is a part of an ownership group that purchased the team for the 2023 season, league officials announced Wednesday.The group is led by Knighthead Capital Management, LLC.  Four-time Grand Slam champion Kim Clijsters, Wall Street's Callie Simpkins, financial adviser Kaitlyn Kerr and Matt Alvarez make up the rest of the group.
