The Met Office has revealed that a heatwave is on its way, with temperatures set to increase drastically from mid-May. From Saturday 6 May Brits will begin to notice the temperature getting warmer across the UK, and it will then slowly increase over the following weeks.
Highs of 23C are expected in certain parts of the UK according to the Met Office, and there's even more good news, as the three-month outlook predicts chances of hot weather in the UK are double that of previous years. The UK's sizzling summer is on its way, and meteorologist Marco Petagna has said that the weather could begin to get "very warm" by the third week of May, according to The Mirror.
