Jason Ritter is sticking up for his wife Melanie Lynskey.
On Friday (January 28), the Yellowjackets star called out people on social media who were making comments about her body under the guise of being concerned about her health.
“Most egregious are the ‘I care about her health!!’ people… b— you don’t see me on my Peloton! You don’t see me running through the park with my child. Skinny does not always equal healthy,” she wrote on Twitter.
Jason shared his thoughts in a separate tweet, which he posted on Saturday.

“If anyone has any further unsolicited comments about *anybody* else’s body, they can feel free to write them in permanent ink onto their own foreheads and swan dive directly into the sun,” the 41-year-old Emmy Award nominee said.
Melanie and Jason tied the knot in 2020 and they share a three-year-old daughter.
Last month, the actress revealed that a member of Yellowjacket‘s crew suggested that she should lose weight. “They were asking me, ‘What do you plan to do? I’m sure the producers will get you a trainer. They’d love to help you with this,’” she said.
Melanie added that her co-stars Christina Ricci, Juliette Lewis, and Tawny Cypress came together to support her, with Juliette writing a letter to the producers on her behalf.
