Meghan Markle's Trooping the Colour Dress Sure Looks Familiar

Fans of Meghan Markle and Harry believe they have cracked the case of baby Lilibet's adorable blue birthday dress, but to a sad conclusion. The company thought to be behind the toddler's first birthday frock has recently gone out of business, with California-based designer Isabel Garreton having founded the firm more than 30 years ago.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had a playful moment during the Trooping the Colour ceremony.  The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were seen playfully shushing the younger royals while watching the parade during Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations. Harry was seen holding his finger to his mouth as he bent down next to his cousin, Lena Tindall, 3.  His wife, Markle, echoed a similar gesture to the group of young girls, including Zara Tindall's children, Lena and Mia, 8, and Peter Phillips' daughter Savannah, 11.The girls playfully mimicked the Duchess’ motion back to her.  Prince Harry shushed some of his cousins during the Trooping the Colour ceremony. He did a similar gesture during the 1990 ceremony.

A royal comparison! Prince Louis’ reaction to flyover planes at the Trooping the Colour parade was reminiscent of another moment at his parents’ 2011 wedding.

The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations kicked off Thursday with the traditional Trooping the Colour birthday parade.

Queen Elizabeth will begin her Platinum Jubilee celebrations on Thursday morning with the Trooping the Colour parade to mark her 96th birthday, an annual event which has been postponed the last two years due to the coronavirus.  Elizabeth became the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee earlier this year following 70 years of service to the people of the United Kingdom, Realms and the Commonwealth.  After a grand military display including horses, carriages, a flypast from the Royal Air Force and hundreds of musicians parading down The Mall to Horse Guard’s Palace, the queen is expected to appear on the Buckingham Palace balcony to greet the public.  Historically, the British monarch has taken the salute to her troops, known as the Household Division on Horse Guards Parade.  Queen Elizabeth II is photographed at Sandringham House to mark the start of Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee Year, on February 2, 2022 in Sandringham, Norfolk. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be joined by other members of the royal family as they watch the Trooping the Colour flyover ceremony from the Major General's Office in Buckingham Palace on Thursday, a source close to the royal family tells ET.The news that Harry, 37, and Meghan, 40, won't join Queen Elizabeth and other members of the royal family on the balcony, is no surprise, as the Palace announced that they did not qualify this year. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will also not be riding in a carriage during the ceremony, like other working members of the royal family. The source added that Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, will not attend Trooping the Colour. In addition, the source also confirmed that the couple is expected to attend the service of thanksgiving on Friday and the concert on Saturday.The duo's trip to the U.K.

Meghan Markle was seemingly 'told off' by Prince Harry during their last appearance at Trooping the Colour.The couple, who have lived in California since 2020, will be making their first public outing together in the UK for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, reports the Daily Star. It will also be the first time their daughter, 11 month old Lilibet, will meet her great grandmother Queen Elizabeth II. Naturally, we can't fail to mention that the scheduled long weekend of celebratory events will also mark Harry and Meghan's first public UK appearance since their explosive tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey.

On the mend. Meghan Markle’s estranged father, Thomas Markle, is now home after he was hospitalized for an apparent stroke last week.
