Meghan Markle’s father Thomas Markle has been rushed to hospital after 'suffering a stroke' on Monday 23 May.The 77 year old was pictures wearing an oxygen mask and struggling to speak as he arrived at hospital. It is believed he had suffered a stroke.This incident comes just days before he said he was supposed to travel to the UK for the Queen's Jubilee celebrations, where he was looking forward to meeting Prince Charles.Thomas had also suffered a health scare in 2018, when he had a heart attack just before Meghan's wedding to Prince Harry. He was forced to pull out of the celebrations, and so wanted to thank Prince Charles for walking his daughter down the aisle in his place.

He’s also the co-recipient of two Daytime Emmy Awards for his long-running work on General Hospital.
