Meet Strictly Come Dancing's sensational new professionals ahead of 2022 series

Fans of Strictly Come Dancing were floored over Fleur East's amazing 'Dorito' rap about her partner Vito Coppola. The 34 year old former X-Factor contestant introduced her new dancing partner on tonight's launch of Strictly Come Dancing, and she had pre-prepared a rap. After Strictly host Claudia Winkleman asked her about it, Fleur didn't hold back as she launched into her self-penned rap.

Strictly Come Dancing viewers were in for a treat during this year’s launch episode on Friday. As the partnerships for the coming series were announced, last year’s winners Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice reunited for a stunning performance.The pair looked like the winners they were as they started their performance with a conversation in British Sign Language before an incredibly moving dance to Alicia Keys’ “Fallin” that had viewers in tears. Strictly fans took to social media to share their awe at the winners for their dance with one saying: “Rose and Giovanni still have my heart,” and before their performance one said: “Can’t wait to cry over rose and giovanni again xxx”.

Strictly Come Dancing 2022 is set to begin on Friday 23 September, with the first live show taking place the following evening (24 September). A fresh batch of celebrities are preparing to compete for the iconic Glitterball trophy, with the likes of Will Mellor, Kym Marsh, Matt Goss and Helen Skelton all getting ready to take to the dance floor.
