Coldplay have shared the new video for their track ‘Humankind’, which was filmed while on tour in Mexico – you can watch the clip below.The song features on the band’s most recent album ‘Music Of The Spheres’, which arrived back in October.The four-piece are currently on tour in support of the LP, and they have today (August 17) shared a new video for ‘Humankind’ which captures the band on stage.Directed by Stevie Rae Gibbs and James Marcus Haney, the ‘Humankind’ video was shot over the course of Coldplay’s four sold-out shows at Mexico City’s Foro Sol stadium back in April.You can watch Coldplay’s video for ‘Humankind’ below.Coldplay will play the fourth of six sold-out shows at London’s Wembley Stadium tonight, before they head to Glasgow for a pair of dates at Hampden Park on August 23-24. AMC Networks’ streaming platform Sundance Now is expanding its 2023 slate with orders for two new series, dark comedy Totally Completely Fine and fantasy mystery series Sanctuary, based on V.V. James novel. They join the recently announced upcoming series Clean Sweep, The Lovers, SisterS, Black Snow, and Far North, all for premiere in 2023.

Kevin Smith discussed the fate of the series on his “Hollywood Babble-On” podcast, saying he was working on an episode with “Supergirl” writer Eric Carrasco.“I got a call the other day from Eric before all of this story broke and he was just like ‘Strange Adventures is officially dead,’ and I was like ‘What the f–k, are you serious?!'” Smith said.“I thought ‘Strange Adventures’ being a causality kind of made sense to me,” he continued.

AMC Networks announced Friday that sitting Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer Christina Spade will be stepping up as its new CEO, effective Sept. 9.

AMC Networks Inc. reached 10.8 million subscribers, the company reported Friday in its second-quarter earnings report. The company increased its subscriber base by 1.3 million from Q1, a 46% year-over-year increase driven partly by the AMC+ premium streaming bundle launch in Spain.

AMC Networks said streaming subscribers jumped 46% to 10.8 million in the June quarter, up from 7.4 million, driven in part by the AMC+ premium streaming bundle launch in Spain. The company said it’s on track to achieve long-term subscriber goal of 20 million to 25 million streaming subscribers by 2025.

AMC Networks has appointed COO and CFO Christina Spade as its new CEO, succeeding Matt Blank, who has held the role in an interim capacity since last September.

She will be a member of the senior leadership team, reporting to Endeavor Content co-CEOs Chris Rice and Graham Taylor.The AMC Networks vet joins Endeavor Content on the heels of South Korean media company CJ ENM acquiring an 80% stake in Endeavor Content.

Max Headroom, with original star Max Frewer set to reprise his role as “the first computer-generated TV presenter”.According to Deadline, Halt and Catch Fire co-creator Christopher Cantwell is writing the adaptation and is attached as showrunner, while the drama series will be produced by Elijah Wood and Daniel Noah’s SpectreVision and All3Media.Originally introduced in 1985 via the hour-long British cyberpunk movie Max Headroom: 20 Minutes Into The Future, Headroom was rumoured to be an AI creation, but was actually Frewer in heavy prosthetics, performing in front of a green screen to give the illusion of CGI.According to his creators, Max’s personality was meant to be a satirical exaggeration of the worst tendencies of television hosts in the 1980s, who aimed to appeal to youth culture despite not being a part of it.Following 20 Minutes Into The Future, Headroom went on to host his own music show (The Max Headroom Show) before starring in the ABC drama Max Headroom, which ran for two seasons before being cancelled in 1987.Headroom even had his own video game, created by developers Binary Design for the Sinclair ZX Spectrum before being ported to the Commodore 64, Amstrad, and Amiga consoles.Since then, Headroom has been parodied by Eminem in his video for ‘Rap God’, and Muse in their clip for ‘Dig Down’.
