Max George 'turns down £160k Celebs Go Dating deal' amid Maisie Smith romance

Max George has reportedly turned down a “£160,000 deal to appear on Celebs Go Dating ” as he continues to grow closer to Eastenders actress Maisie Smith.The Wanted star, has been trying to maintain a low profile since parting ways with former flame Stacey Giggs, as rumours surrounding a new romance continue to hound the star. E4 producers had allegedly been trying to snap up the 33 year old singer following his split, but Max wasn’t interested and rebuffed any offers to appear on the show.
Producers even reportedly offered him a six-figure fee to appear on the show in an attempt to entice him, yet sadly they had no luck, after he was seen enjoying a holiday with his Strictly Come Dancing co-star Maisie. Despite the huge offer on the table, Max “turned it down” according to a TV insider.
"He has no ambitions to be on a dating show especially so soon after his split with Stacey,” they told The Sun. “He's found the past few days tough.” The added: “He's trying to keep a low profile and stay out of the spotlight for a while.” Max and 21 year old Maisie first met on the set of Strictly Come Dancing in 2020, where they became fast friends.
Yet things are thought to have hotted up between the pair, with rumours of a romance between the talented stars kicking off in January as the Strictly Live tour got underway. According to friends, Max and Stacey split for a second time earlier this month, after briefly parting ways in March, but the pictures of him and Maisie "came as a shock," A source told OK! “They have managed to keep it really under wraps.
