Matt Damon and Casey Affleck ham it up for the camera while filming a scene for their new movie The Instigators on Friday (March 24) in Boston, Massachusetts.
The Oscar-winning actors commenced filming the new movie earlier this week, taking over a fire house for a day.
On Thursday, they appeared to be getting some stunt work in before making a run for it with a large bag on Matt‘s back. Both he and Casey were dressed in dark colors and wore hats.

Casey‘s character appears to have suffered an injury. His hands and face are spattered with blood, and he is clutching his stomach in one photo. You’ll also notice that a white t-shirt underneath his black jacket appears to be stained red, as though it was soaked in blood.
Doug Liman is directing the movie, which Casey co-wrote alongside Chuck MacLean. It will be produced by Matt and Casey‘s brother Ben Affleck.
The project appears to focus on Matt and Casey, who make a run for it after a failed robbery. They’ll appear alongside the likes of Hong Chau, Paul Walter Hauser and Michael Stuhlbarg.

Hong Chau and Casey Affleck hung out together on the stoop of a Brooklyn home while filming their new movie The Instigators together on Friday (April 7) in New York City.
"AIR," the new movie starring Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, and directed by Affleck, reunites old friends, with a stamp of approval by Michael Jordan. It is no secret that Affleck and Damon have been friends for decades, first meeting when Damon was 10 and Affleck was 8. In previous interviews, both actors have expressed they each had a love for acting at an early age, which drew them to one another.

People Wednesday that Affleck kept him grounded as fame started to “mess” with his head in the early days of his career.“It’s been really helpful to check in with Ben throughout this whole surreal process over the last 25 years,” Damon said. “I think the shock of becoming famous is so … I mean, that messed me up for a couple years,” he added. Affleck, 50, and Damon met in Cambridge, Massachusetts, when they were young kids and bonded over a love of baseball and film.
