Martine McCutcheon looks as gorgeous as ever as she shares the secrets behind her trim figure.
The Love Actually actress frequently posts glammed up snaps on social media, and has thousands of fans dying to know what tricks are up her sleeve. The mother of one has opened up about her diet and exercise regime, and reveals what food she tries to avoid, reports the Mirror.
The ex-EastEnders actress encourages fans to keep active and eat well. "With every meal I make sure to have loads of fruit and veg, not too much dairy not too much red meat," Martine, 46, explained.
"When you're doing that daily, you're allowing yourself that little bit of space where you can have the freedom to still have a little bit of what you fancy."
The actress also spoke about her exercise routine, saying: "For me, it's a gentle 20-min walk every day.Walking in nature helps me mentally. It sets me up with the right tone of the day and physically helps with my ME and fibromyalgia," reports Closer magazine.
Martine was first diagnosed with ME in 2011. The condition is also known as chronic fatigue syndrome and is a long-term illness with several symptoms, including tiredness, muscle pain and a sore throat.
The Love Actually star spoke about how the illness affects her last year, telling Hello! magazine: "I look at it that when I get symptoms or when my body starts clanging, it's a sign for me to pace myself, rest. So, yeah, I've definitely learned to look at it as a good messenger rather than something that simply gets in the way."
The much-loved actress has had an enviable career but admitted she has to turn jobs down as her and husband Jack McManus firmly believe in the mantra "family first" and spending quality time with their son Rafferty, seven.
