Married At First Sight UK star Marilyse Corrigan has been applauded for sharing an inspiring message. Marilyse, who embarked on a mission to find love in the 2021 series of the E4 matchmaking series, took to Instagram to say a healthy lifestyle doesn't have to be about losing weight.
Personal trainer Marilyse, 38, posted a throwback photo of herself on Instagram in workout gear captioned "underweight and weak." With another she wrote "unhappy and sad" and with a third picture of herself in denim mini shorts and a vest she said her "body shape had gone."
Marilyse then went on to post a smiling picture of herself in a sports bra and leggings saying "healthy weight and strong." With another picture of herself looking radiant in the sunshine in a cropped vest top she descibed herself as "happy and focused."

Marilyse told her followers: "Remember leading a healthy lifestyle doesn’t have to be about losing weight, it can be about gaining weight too. Eating the right foods and exercising can be a hard battle in both situations and mentally and physically challenging on our body. I know this, from experience and from the clients I have worked with over the years.
She added: "But there is light at the end of the tunnel, you can reach your goals and live the lifestyle you desire to be happy, healthier and stronger." Her message was applauded by followers including her Married At First Sight husband Franky Spencer, who she split from after the social experiment but remained good friends.
Thomas Hartley from last year's series told her: "You’re strong and beautiful." bird4171 told Marilyse: "Wow thank you for that! What an inspirational Insta."
