Former Married At First Sight UK star Amy Christophers has spoken out on her experience on the show, describing it as how she'd imagine a soap opera would run.The 35-year-old glamour model-turned-reality star - who married 27-year-old Josh Christie before reeling viewers dubbed him a 'playboy' - sat down with showbiz podcaster Johnny Seifert this week to reflect on her unconventional dating show past. "I really thought that it was going to be more like a wedding than a show," Amy revealed. "It felt like I was filming Hollyoaks! Okay right which says get this shot like it was completely not I didn't even speak to Josh.
"I spoke to him like for two minutes, and we just kept getting dragged away to go and film other things and whatever." She added: "I remember they they took me away and Josh after we just literally got married And then they were like, 'So what'd you think about him? This, that and the other?' And I was like, 'Oh, I don't know. I've, I mean, I've only said hello to him'. "But you know what? I was like, 'No, I literally don't know'.
It was like, I don't even know how old he is. And all of that, and then they're like, 'Oh, he's 26. I was.' Oh, my God.
Okay. Right. And yeah, it was just weird.
"And then even at the end of the night, they take you back to the hotel in separate cars, because they don't want you getting to know each other too well, off camera. "They want everything to be like organic, but obviously, it's just awkward. And then once we'd actually had like, a night on our own, like the wedding night, we were like, up all night chatting and whatever.

Kim Murphy The Baltimore production of the Apple TV+ series “Lady in the Lake” was halted on Friday afternoon after the producers decided to “err on the side of caution” after receiving threats of violence. The Baltimore police department confirmed that a group of locals contacted producers working a shoot on Park Avenue in the downtown area at around 4 p.m. on Friday. The group threatened to return in the evening to shoot somebody if production didn’t cease. Producers were also told to pay a sum of $50,000 to the group before production would be allowed to continue. Leaders on the series elected to reschedule filming and look for another location after receiving the message, according to the police department.
