Married at First Sight line up 2022: Meet the brides and grooms as show returns to E4

Married At First Sight UK got off to a dramatic start with this week, with plenty of awkward moments and clashes in between some of the more promising romantic moments. The E4 show sees experts pair up hopeless romantics with their 'ideal' matches – but it's not the first time one of the cast has had a little help from a TV show. Wedding dress designer April Banbury, who tied the knot with financial advisor George Roberts, has had stints on ITV’s The Cabins and Channel 5’s The Bachelor in her quest for true love.

After a year of waiting, Married At First Sight is back on our screens and a new group of single people are set to embark on a bold social experiment which will see them married to a total stranger. Married At First Sight is set to hit UK TV screens again this evening, Monday 29 August, after the show proved popular among its viewers last season. Now, two of its brand new brides have shared their thoughts about the upcoming E4 series on Lorraine ahead of its big launch. Speaking to host Christine Lampard, who is filling in for hosting veteran Lorraine Kelly, Derby social worker Chanita Stephenson said: “You won't want to miss it", as London wedding dress designer April Banbury quipped: “There's more fireworks than bonfire night!” Last week relationship experts Mel Schilling told Christine that this season will be “one of the best” as the show is expected to feature 30 episodes, a longer running time than its predecessors.
