Naman Ramachandran After its world premiere in Toronto, Nandita Das’ “Zwigato” has its Asian premiere in Busan’s A Window on Asian Cinema strand. An acclaimed actor with credits including “Fire,” “Kannathil Muthamittal” and “Kamli,” Das made her directorial debut with “Firaaq” (2008), which debuted at Toronto. Her next film as director, “Manto” (2018), bowed at Cannes. “Zwigato,” her third outing in the director’s seat, also bowed at Toronto. It began life as a short film that was to be part of an anthology produced by India’s Applause Entertainment. That project didn’t come to fruition, but Applause chief Sameer Nair convinced Das to expand the idea into a feature, which she did during the course of India’s first two COVID-19 lockdowns. The film, a satire on the gig economy, follows a factory manager, who after losing his job, becomes a courier for the food delivery app Zwigato.

But the doting mum, who also has a two-year-old son, Rox, with fiancé Casey Johnson, has confessed to OK! that she’s struggling with the jump from caring for one young child to looking after two. "I’ve got such an amazing bond with Oax because of how well the birth went," said Marnie, 30. "But at the moment, we’re going through a couple of complications." The reality star, who took time out to chat to OK! ahead of the brand new series of Geordie Shore: The Reunion, explained, "He’s currently got colic, which is really tough to see.
But I know that this stage always passes." In the days that followed Oax’s birth, Marnie took to her Instagram Stories to gush over her new arrival, saying that she and dad Casey, 27, were "obsessed" with him. Opening up about her labour, she went on, "What a different experience that was compared to the birth of Rox, which I’m very grateful for. "I can’t wait to show you him, but I feel like me and Casey have chosen to just wait a little bit because we just want to enjoy him ourselves for a little while." Back in 2020, Marnie described Rox’s birth as "horrific", revealing that she lost two pints of blood and contracted a rare bacterial infection.
She also struggled to bond with her baby son, telling OK! at the time, "Not only was I really ill, but I had just had a baby, so my emotions and hormones were all over the place as well. It was horrible. "I was so depressed.
