While Chad Stahelski wraps up post-production on “John Wick: Chapter 4,” he has one of his next projects lined up at Netflix. Deadline reports that Stahleski will direct the streamer’s feature film adaptation of the “Black Samurai” novels, about an American soldier who learns the way of the samurai.

When Netflix was looking to shoot its Paul Feig-directed fantasy-adventure The School for Good and Evil, at its Shepperton Studios hub just outside of London in 2020, there was no space to house the ambitious young adult project in the Surrey-based facility. In a first, the busy streamer decided to cross the Irish Sea and film the Charlize Theron and Kerry Washington starrer in Northern Ireland.

The Stallone family stunned at the Ralph Lauren Runway show in Los Angeles on Thursday. Sylvester Stallone, 76, and Jennifer Flavin, 54 – who have been married for 25 years – were accompanied by two of their daughters, Sophia and Sistine Stallone, as they all wore corresponding neutral tones to the show held at The Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens in San Marino, California. Selome Hailu Marin Ireland has been cast in “Sinking Spring,” the upcoming Apple TV+ drama series from Peter Craig. Ireland plays Kristy Lynne, a fiery, foul-mouthed woman entrenched deeply in a high-intensity drug trafficking area in rural Pennsylvania, who survives a life-threatening assault. As she reclaims her voice and health, she becomes obsessed with finding the culprits and unraveling the plot that nearly destroyed her. She joins previously announced stars Brian Tyree Henry and Michael Mando. Based on Dennis Tafoya’s 2009 novel “Dope Thief,” “Sinking Spring” follows long-time Philly friends and delinquents who pose as DEA agents to rob an unknown house in the countryside, only to have their small-time grift become a life-and-death enterprise, as they unwittingly reveal and unravel the biggest hidden narcotics corridor on the Eastern seaboard.
