The Trial of the Chicago 7 editor Alan Baumgarten topped the dramatic feature editing category ofAmerican Cinema Editors's 71st ACE Eddie Awards, whilePalm Springs'sMatthew Friedman and Andrew Dickler won the category for best edited comedic feature, during Saturday's virtual ceremony. Smoove, the event runs from from 4 p.m.- 6 p.m., PT and celebrates outstanding production design in theatrical motion pictures, television, commercials, animated features and music videos.
