Alan Hutton has demanded that Manchester United loanee Amad Diallo shows a "strong mentality" after his difficult time at Rangers.
Diallo made a blistering start to life in Scotland, scoring on his debut in a 3-3 draw with Ross County. However, he has failed to impress since and, as a result, has lost his place in Giovanni van Bronckhorst's side.
He has made just four further appearances, including just one since the middle of February. But former defender Hutton believes all is not lost for Amad as the domestic campaign enters the final five games.

"I think he’s probably finding out how difficult Scotland can actually be.," he told Football Insider. "I’m not pointing any fingers, but there have been players in the past who have come up and thought it was going to be easy – but have had a bit of a shock.
"He was thrown in early doors, he looked really good, really sharp. But the turning point was the last Celtic game (on February 2).
"He realised then what he was up against, and the levels you have to maintain to keep your place. He’s had a real knock to his confidence.
"But he needs to now show a strong mentality. It looks to me that he has the potential to be a big-game player, but he just needs to find his feet again."
Rangers' title defence has not gone to place as they currently trail fierce rivals Celtic by six points with just five games of the league campaign to go.
