The Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani-faced Nine Two Foundation's bid has no concerns over the UK Government opposing their Manchester United takeover, Sportsmailreports. Bloomberg stated on Tuesday that senior UK government officials flagged concerns about Sheikh Jassim because of historic regulatory failings made by the UK subsidiary of the Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) that Sheikh Jassim has chaired since 2006. They did add that there is no suggestion at this stage of any government intervention to block the bid. Gary Neville has warned there is “no perfect answer” regarding which Manchester United bidder is the best for the club and insists it “wouldn’t bother” him if either Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani or Sir Jim Ratcliffe won the takeover race. Both parties submitted second buy bids for United last month, with Sheikh Al-Thani wishing to take over the whole club, while Ratcliffe is vying for the Glazers’ 69 per cent majority share. Neville
