Manchester United will play Liverpool in their third game of the new Premier League season.
Liverpool beat United 5-0 at Old Trafford and 4-0 at Anfield last season, and Erik ten Hag will be looking to prevent another embarrassing scoreline in his third game in charge. United's game against Liverpool is pencilled in for 3pm on Saturday 20 August, but the kick-off time and potentially the date of the game will be amended in the coming weeks for TV broadcasting purposes.
United are due to visit Anfield on Saturday 4 March.

United also won't have to wait much longer for the Manchester derby, with Ten Hag's side set to visit City at the Etihad on Saturday 1 October. United lost 4-1 against City when making the trip to the Etihad under Ralf Rangnick last term.
The Reds are down to play City at Old Trafford on Saturday 14 January, which will be their second game of the New Year.

United have a reasonable run of fixtures to end the season, with their final five games scheduled against Aston Villa, West Ham, Wolverhampton, Bournemouth and Fulham. The season's closer against Fulham will be played on Sunday 28 May.
