Ralf Rangnick says playing prospects have to be considered if Manchester United are to let any players leave this month.
Rangnick has conceded United have 'too big of a squad' but the club rejected Sevilla's offer to sign Anthony Martial on loan while Rangnick would prefer to keep fellow wantaways Dean Henderson and Donny van de Beek. Ajax are interested in loaning Henderson while Van de Beek has been offered to Newcastle and Borussia Dortmund.

The questionable squad management by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and the Covid-19 outbreaks in Premier League squads has left United in an indecisive situation with the transfer window open for less than two more weeks.
"I have spoken to quite a few of those players who don't get enough game-time and I can fully understand the players," Rangnick said. "If I was a player myself, or if I was the father or the agent of the player, I would also not be happy about not playing regularly or not playing at all.
"But again, it takes two things: one is that the player wants to leave and they need clubs who can offer them a contract and a better perspective to play, and then there also still needs to be an agreement between the two clubs.
"I can fully understand some of the players who would like to get more game-time and they are capable of getting more game-time at other clubs. I wouldn't interfere, they would have my blessing if they want to leave, but in the end it's a question of other issues that also need to be resolved."
Rangnick reiterated he 'nominated' Martial for a squad selection at Aston Villa on Sunday but refused to elaborate on the Frenchman's denial he refused
