Manchester United are said to be looking into an incident involving Cristiano Ronaldo following his side's defeat to Everton on Saturday.
Footage has emerged showing the 37-year-old leaving the pitch and heading towards the dressing room situated between the away fans and the Park End stand. Ronaldo cut a frustrated figure as he trudged off the field, and Sky Sports report that United are now looking into an incident involving Ronaldo and a mobile phone.
The report goes on to add that eyewitnesses have claimed the incident involved a mobile phone hitting the ground. The Portuguese star was unable to prevent United from suffering another defeat as Everton ran out 1-0 winners at Goodison Park.

He was slumped on the turf after the final whistle, removing his shinpads to show a nasty cut on his shin. The defeat was Ronaldo's first Premier League outing for nearly a month after missing their draw with Leicester City through illness.
For United, they've won just three of their last 12 in all competitions. Prior to Anthony Gordon's first-half strike, the visitors tested Jordan Pickford on a number of occasions as Marcus Rashford forced him into two important saves.
However, they were left frustrated in the second-half as Frank Lampard's side defended resolutely to maintain their lead. The defeat leaves United in seventh with their Champions League hopes all but gone.
