Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo has shared three images of himself and his son training together in Mallorca on his Instagram page, ahead of returning to England for the start of pre-season training.
Ronaldo, who plundered 24 goals in his first season back at Old Trafford last term, is currently enjoying some holiday time with his family after being on international duty with Portugal for the first half of June. That means that he is entitled to a three-week break before returning to United's Carrington training base.
A crop of United stars reported back to Carrington on Monday for the start of pre-season and the beginning of the Erik ten Hag era, with the likes of David de Gea, Donny van de Beek and Anthony Martial among the first to return. Harry Maguire, Bruno Fernandes and Ronaldo, plus others, will report back a little later.

Ronaldo, though, has been keeping himself busy while on holiday, making the most of training at Real Mallorca's training ground. A few images of him working on his own have surfaced on social media over the last few days, highlighting that the 37-year-old is continuing to push himself to the limits even while on holiday with his family.
On Monday, however, his son - Cristiano Jr - accompanied him to the training ground and was pictured donning last season's away shirt, sporting No.7 on the back. One of the images showed Ronaldo and his son playing together, with the former, just as he did in an image released last week, wearing a yellow t-shirt. Whether Cristiano Jr was there in the main to watch his father or to participate in a training session of his own is unclear.
