Haidara is currently on international duty with his national side as they look to see off Equatorial Guinea on Wednesday and move into the quarter-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations.
Meanwhile, ESPN are reporting that Newcastle are stepping up their bid to bring Jesse Lingard to St James' Park.
Sources have told the media outlet that he is only prepared to sign for Eddie Howe's side on loan ahead of assessing his plans in the summer.
At a similar stage last season, the 29-year-old swapped Old Trafford for the London Stadium where he enjoyed a fruitful loan spell. With West Ham interested in the summer, they saw their efforts turned down with a view to featuring him in the squads - however, he has yet to start in the Premier League this season.
Lingard is said to be hoping the Hammers rekindle their interest this month but it is understood by ESPN that United aren't keen to bolster a direct rival for the top four.
