His hack only requires one simple tool that you're bound to have lying in your kitchen drawers, reports The Mirror.
In a social media clip with over 10,000 views on TikTok, the home chef demonstrated how a vegetable peeler can transform cutting an onion from a teary drama to a fuss free task.
The simple trick wowed his legions of followers, with some even describing it as "genius."
He explained: "White or red onion? Which one do you prefer to eat? Tell us in the comments. A fork + a strong peeler made in Germany = epic win!"
The TikToker can be seen just running the vegetable peeler over the onion which slices it finely, meaning you don't have to deal with any of the usual faff which comes with slicing an onion.
Many in the comments were shocked to see this hack and some claimed it could be a 'life changer' to cut down on the tears and time usually required.
