A man has admitted exploiting a vulnerable worker who told investigators he had lived in a filthy six-foot shed at a caravan park for four decades.
Peter Swailes was initially charged alongside his 80-year-old father, also called Peter Swailes - but the older man died last year shortly before standing trial.
Both men previously pleaded not guilty to conspiring to arrange or facilitate the travel of an individual between 2015 and 2019 with a view to him being exploited.

Swailes Junior, 56, has today pleaded guilty to the modern slavery offence at Carlisle Crown Court.
A senior investigator has described the case as ‘harrowing’ and said the victim will be traumatised for the rest of his life.

Swailes, of Cryndlbeck Stables, Low Harker, Carlisle, has been released on bail and is due to appear before the same court for sentencing on February 4.
The charges came after a three-year investigation by the Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority (GLAA), supported by Cumbria Police and the National Crime Agency (NCA), after a man was found living in a 6ft shed on a residential site north of Carlisle.
Investigators carried out a search warrant at Hadrian’s Caravan Park on October 3, 2018.
Peter Swailes Senior was arrested in his static caravan on suspicion of offences under the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
At the time of his arrest he was heard to say: “not all this slavery thing
