A man was found with a knife and a screwdriver after being stopped and search by police in Stockport.
Two men were 'detained' by officers at around 3am this morning (Sunday) in the town centre. They had been acting suspiciously, police said.
Both males were searched at the scene. One was found with a knife and a screwdriver.

He was arrested for possession of a bladed article and going equipped to steal, officers said. A post on the GMP Stockport Facebook page said: "Officers have just detained two males in Stockport town centre following reports of suspicious behaviour.
"Both males stopped and searched, one of the males found in possession of a knife and screwdriver. Arrested for possession of a bladed article & going equipped to steal."
