Rochdale. The smash, between a motorcycle and a van, happened just after 4.15pm on Wednesday (September 23) on Rochdale Road.The black and white Honda CBR bike was travelling towards Middleton when it collided with a white Peugeot Expert, police said.The crash happened near the junction close to Hopwood Hall College.
The man riding the bike, who is in his 30s, was taken to hospital by air ambulance. He remains there in a critical condition.Police are now appealing for anyone with information
