Another man has been arrested in connection with the murder of nine-year-old Olivia Pratt-Korbel.
During the night of September 9, detectives arrested a 37-year-old man from West Derby on suspicion of assisting an offender and has been taken into custody where he will be questioned by detectives.
It makes him the ninth person to be arrested in connection to the shooting incident that took place in the young girl's home last month. On Friday afternoon, an 18-year-old from West Derby was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and remains in custody for police questioning.

Merseyside Police previously conditionally bailed four other suspects linked to the tragic shooting. One of those on bail includes a 34-year-old man, from Runcorn, who was arrested on suspicion of murdering the child, the Liverpool Echo reports.
Others on release include a 34-year-old man, from Liverpool, a 41-year-old man, from Knowsley, and a 29-year-old man, who were all arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and questioned by police. It comes as police continue their investigation while appealing for members of the public to come forward with any information that would help bring those involved in the murder to justice.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: "Last night (Friday, 9 September) detectives arrested a 37-year-old man in connection with the murder of nine-year-old Olivia Pratt-Korbel. The man, from West Derby, has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and has been taken into custody where he will be questioned by detectives.
