A man has been charged with rape after an alleged attack on a woman in Wigan.
According to Greater Manchester Police (GMP) the alleged victim was subjected to a 'prolonged attack in various locations' across Wigan town centre in the early hours of Saturday, March 12 this year.
Her age and other details about her have not been disclosed.

However, officers say a man was arrested in connection with the incident and that the 19-year-old has been charged.
Samuel Jackubowski, of Elm Tree Road, Lowton, has been charged with two counts of rape. Police announced the charges in a short statement on the Wigan Police GMP Twitter feed.
