Magnolia Acquires US On ‘King’s Land,’ Period Epic Reunites Mads Mikkelsen With Nikolaj Arcel

“Your memory makes you question the truth; the truth makes you question your memory” — so reads the message that scrolls in Prime Video’s latest trailer for “The Terminal List” titled “Perspective is Everything.” The upcoming psychological thriller-action series stars Chris Pratt as Navy Seal Lieutenant James Reece, who isn’t certain about his reality after his platoon is ambushed during combat. Also starring are Constance Wu, Taylor Kitsch and Riley Keough with “Training Day” filmmaker Antoine Fuqua directing. It follows Reece as he investigates the circumstances surrounding the attack on his troop.

EXCLUSIVE: Vertical Entertainment has acquired North American rights to the political satire Land of Dreams, directed by Shirin Neshat and Shoja Azari, which is making its North American premiere in the Spotlight Narrative section of the Tribeca Film Festival in June. “War Pony” wins Palm Dog AwardBrit the Silver Poodle, who stars in Riley Keough and Gina Gammell’s indigenous drama “War Pony,” took home the coveted Palm Dog collar, according to the Hollywood Reporter.The Palm Collar is awarded to the best performance by a canine or group of canines during the festival. Chris Pratt admitted he "sacrificed a lot" to film the "Jurassic World" trilogy. Sitting down with co-star Bryce Dallas Howard, Pratt explained it's "sad" to see the franchise come to an end. Mads Mikkelsen will star in an epic period drama called “King’s Land” and is reuniting with the director of “A Royal Affair” Nikolaj Arcel, making it Arcel’s first film since “A Royal Affair” in 2012. “King’s Land” (working title) is co-written by Arcel and Danish screenwriter Anders Thomas Jensen (“Riders of Justice”) and is based on the Danish bestseller “The Captain and Ann Barbara” from 2020.
