Married At First Sight UK was full of drama on Tuesday night as Matt Murray and Whitney Hughes pursued a romance despite being partnered with other people. Viewers will recall Matt and wife Gemma Rose, as well as Whitney and husband Duka Cav, have had a tumultuous time with their relationships on the show so far.
During a mini break in the countryside for all the couples, Whitney and Matt decided to pursue their "cute" vibe as they told their fellow partners and co-stars the news with explosive results at the show's dinner party.The news was announced after Kwame Badu, who as well as his co-stars, had noticed their flirty behaviour as he said of Matt talking to Duka: "The irony to be consoled by the man who has taken his woman! Let's just get it out in the open, there's been pure whispers!" To which Gemma, who had a "gut instinct", was left confused as Matt took her outside to break the news, saying he wanted to explore his connection with Whitney. Gemma then entered the dinner party, declaring: "It's not okay, we're here, we're f**king married! We're supposed to be committed to one another, did everyone know this before me?" To which Duka, who thinks Whitney and Matt aren't "compatible", then comforted a sobbing Gemma, saying he was going through the "same thing", adding: "I'm so sorry!" However, viewers were left distracted during the scenes as they noticed that Gemma and Duka were wearing matching leather jackets.
Taking to Twitter, one person said: "I'm not sure if they style themselves for these events or not but it seems very symbolic that Duka & Gemma are both wearing leather jackets.
