Married At First Sight is set to hit UK TV screens again this evening, Monday 29 August, after the show proved popular among its viewers last season. Now, two of its brand new brides have shared their thoughts about the upcoming E4 series on Lorraine ahead of its big launch. Speaking to host Christine Lampard, who is filling in for hosting veteran Lorraine Kelly, Derby social worker Chanita Stephenson said: “You won't want to miss it", as London wedding dress designer April Banbury quipped: “There's more fireworks than bonfire night!” Last week relationship experts Mel Schilling told Christine that this season will be “one of the best” as the show is expected to feature 30 episodes, a longer running time than its predecessors.
The show will see the UK’s singletons putting their trust in the hands of Mel and co-stars, Paul C. Brunson and Charlene Douglas. Speaking to Chanita and April, Christine said: “I do believe they've made it a little bit more like the Australia one, which I do love.
It’s brilliant.” “We have lived it and we would come out of the dinner parties like, ‘wow, as if that’s happened’. Honestly, I've watched Married At First Sight before and I thought, ‘we must look crazy, we’re going to look crazy’ – in the best way," Chanita added. Before the interview came to a close Christine said: “I’m pleased to say you both look happy today and I'm going to take that as a good thing – I’m not asking any questions to give it away, but it’s been an interesting happy experience so far?" To which Chanita responded: “Yeah, it’s once in a lifetime and I would recommend anyone that wants to do it to do it, because you learn so much about yourself.
