Neighbours icon Madge Bishop will return to the beloved soap for the final episode as a ghost. It’s already been confirmed that a number of famous faces, including the likes of Hollywood actress Margot Robbie and singer Kylie Minogue, will be reprising their roles one last time as the Australian soap prepares to end for good. And producers couldn’t let fans kiss goodbye to Neighbours without Madge (played by Anne Charleston) making an appearance.
Of course, Madge was married to Harold Bishop (Ian Smith) and mum to Kylie’s character Charlene. Her character met an untimely end in 2001 when she died from pancreatic cancer. According to insiders, 79-year-old actress Anne was recently back on set to film her emotional scene for Friday’s finale on Channel 5.
