Ryan confirmed his poorly son’s hospital visit as he posted a heartbreaking black-and-white photo of Roman in a cot in A&E, where he was monitored by doctors for 24 hours.The actor wrote next the image: "Me and my little man have unfortunately been in this situation many times before. "But this weekend we spent 24 hours in hospital away from home - but wanted to say a massive thank you to all the doctors and nurses at The Cumberland Infirmary for the hard work and dedication in making sure we get the best care possible.
"Me and my boy are home safe because of you. We are truly grateful." Ryan and Lucy’s son Roman has had health issues in the past, after being found looking “blue” in his cot by a terrified Lucy. Roman was rushed to hospital only last month due to having a virus, and was put on a nebuliser, and had oxygen, steroids and antibiotics.
Lucy, 31, shared at the time that she and Ryan were forced to cancel their family holiday after their son fell ill. She wrote in a post: He's fine he just sometimes needs some help fighting viruses. "Bless him.
Wish I'd kept him off pre-school and got him to the sunshine sooner." Lucy added: "Meant to be on a beach. Whyyy did I send Roman to pre-school this week." Lucy and Ryan went through a horrifying ordeal when Roman was discovered unconscious in his cot nearly a year ago. Lucy described her son as “blue” and “floppy” when she found him and called 999 straight away after he had difficulty breathing.
