Lucy Mecklenburgh celebrated a low-key birthday as her and baby Lilah both fell "poorly" on her special day.The TOWIE star thanked fans and followers for their birthday wishes on Instagram whilst explaining both Lucy and her daughter were not feeling well. Lucy turned 31 years old on August 24 and was looked after by her fiance Ryan Thomas, who she thanked on Instagram and labelled him "amazing".The Essex personality first uploaded a photo with Lilah on the bed next to flowers and presents captioned: "Not exactly how I planned to spend my bday. Me & Lilah are both poorly.Thank you for everyone's birthday messages", with loads of loved up emojis.The sweet upload was followed by a picture of some birthday balloons that said: "Happy Birthday love Scarlett" and "Happy Birthday mummy love Roman & Lilah x x".

Lucy Mecklenburgh has been left fuming after discovering her baby daughter Lilah has to wait 193 days for a referral appointment. The former TOWIE star, 30, who recently shared a sweet clip of her son Roman saying his bay sister's name, shared a screenshot of the NHS referral to her 1.7 million followers on her Instagram Story. The reality star showed the NHS app which revealed that the first appointment was available in “approximately” 193 days.
She wrote: “Referral for Lilah,” before adding at the end: “NO words”. Lucy detailed the terrifying moment she had to rush her baby to hospital earlier this week after she developed a high temperature. She revealed on her Instagram story that her daughter wasn't "coping well" after catching a cough from her brother Roman, two, and was "choking on milk and saliva".
Lucy, who’s engaged to former Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas, shared a picture of Lilah, born at the end of May, asleep with a tube attached to her face. She wrote: “Lots of messages asking where I've been for 5 days. "Unfortunately, Lilah got really poorly with Bronchiolitis so we have had a few days in hospital She is home now and doing well I'm obviously not in any position to give medical advice but this is our experience for parents that may want to know what happened & what to look out for." Lucy then explained that Roman first came down with a "really bad cough", which she presumed he picked up from preschool.
